Cloud analytics and strategies
Cloud technology has revolutionized the business world and the use of IT in the long term and with no doubt offers immense advantages (which clearly prevail over possible risks and problems). But despite these benefits, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular face substantial challenges in integrating cloud applications. One key challenge, for example, is the volume of services offered by leading hyperscaler such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and AWS Cloud.
For example – as of 07/25/2023 – Azure offers 424 services, AWS 220, and Google Cloud 95. Especially in areas such as AI and machine learning, the number of professional services on offer is constantly increasing. (see table)
For small and midsize companies, this means significant training and support costs. Training employees in these technologies can be time-consuming and costly, especially since SMEs do not always have the IT resources of large enterprises. Therefore it is essential for SMEs to develop a clear cloud strategy and focus on the most appropriate services. Through targeted consulting and step-by-step implementation, SMEs can take advantage of the cloud without being overwhelmed by its complexity.
